Wonderful article and killer finish: ‘You’re guiding this year into a vessel to be given to someone else as a bridge to their feelings and to their curiosity about ‘I wonder what happened, when all of this happened’

Thanks for reading it, Elizabeth. Yes, I love that last line. I can also imagine, young, tanned, lithe Americans laughing among vines by the Southern Ocean in the land of kangaroos, lost in the moment. Not “knowing” wine but creating memories around that communal experience. Then, later in life, that same liquid sparking deeper reflection. “We’re always saying we should be more present. That’s a beautiful way to do it.” And, of course, Alison and Alecia’s beautiful kinship.
